Aberdeen Action on Disability was established in 1992 and is a voluuntary organisation, recognised as a charity in Scotland, and managed by people with physical and sesnsory disabilites.
it is located in fully accessible premises in Central Aberdeen and is committed to equal opportunities and barrier free services for all persons with physical and sensory disabilities.
It is involved with service providers and decision makers in ensuring that people have equal access to services such as education, employment, housing and transport, and service providers comply with all current and new disability legislation
